Nashville Predators Re-Sign Dante Fabbro, Kevin Lankinen
USA TODAY Sports

The Nashville Predators announced today that they have signed defenseman Dante Fabbro to a one year, $2.5 million dollar deal. The 24 year old was a 2016 first round draft pick for the Predators and has played 230 games for the franchise. This season Fabbro has recorded one goal and seven assists in 56 games.

At the post deadline press conference, David Poile also announced that the Predators have signed back up goaltender Kevin Lankinen to a one year, $2 million dollar contract. Lankinen has started 13 games for the Predators this season and earned a 7-5-0-1 record. He has won four of his last five starts for the Preds. The 27 year old goaltender has been a reliable back up for Juuse Saros and is coming off of a 2-1 win over the Florida Panthers in which he made 30 of 31 saves.
