Blackhawks Injury Report: Reinforcements On the Way vs. Oilers
Jamie Sabau-USA TODAY Sports

The Chicago Blackhawks have been decimated by injuries in recent weeks, but a pair of forwards are ready to return. After stints on injured reserve, forwards Joey Anderson and Taylor Raddysh will suit up on Tuesday against the Edmonton Oilers.

Anderson last played on Dec. 17 against the Vancouver Canucks before a left shoulder injury sidelined him. The 25-year-old began the season with the AHL Rockford IceHogs but produced five assists in 13 games with the Blackhawks before going on the shelf.

Raddysh scored 10 points (five goals, five assists) in 35 games to begin the season. However, he tweaked his groin on his first shift of a Dec. 29 game against the Dallas Stars, forcing him to go on IR.

To make room for the forward duo, the Blackhawks are assigning Louis Crevier to Rockford. The rookie defenseman logged three assists in 13 games during his first NHL stint.

Additionally, recent trade acquisition Rem Pitlick will make his Blackhawks debut on Tuesday against the Oilers. The Blackhawks acquired Pitlick on Saturday, but travel issues prevented him from playing on Sunday against the Calgary Flames.
