In a game where the Knicks’ starters struggled from behind the arc, Miles "Deuce" McBride hit plenty of treys.

McBride stepped up off the bench for the Knicks, nailing five three-pointers in their 111-104 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. While Josh Hart, Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby combined to make just two threes in the first three quarters, McBride provided the spacing the Knicks needed against a stifling Sixers defense.

He finished with 21 points on 5-for-7 shooting from deep. And as if to prove he’s more than a sharpshooter, McBride drove to the hoop for a fourth-quarter layup that gave the Knicks a lead they’d never relinquish.

By the fourth, Hart was inspired by McBride’s example. He drilled three triples of his own in the final five minutes, finishing with 22 points and 13 rebounds.

McBride balled out for the Knicks. But if the 76ers couldn’t win after holding Brunson to 8-for-26 shooting and a single three-pointer, they could be in for a difficult series.
