Catalog For 2024 Wanamaker’s April Sale Now Available

The 2024 Wanamaker’s April Sale catalog is now available for viewing at wanamakers.com. 

A wide range of horses are on offer, with yearlings, horses of racing age, open broodmares, and broodmares in-foal all cataloged this month.

Bidding will open at 9 a.m. ET on Thursday, April 25, with the first listing set to close at 2 p.m. Subsequent listings will close in three-minute increments. Detailed information on the buying process can be found at wanamakers.com/buy.

Highlights of the catalog include:

- Nyquist filly, Deck of Cards, who has won her last three starts at Keeneland and Turfway Park and has earnings of over $125,000.

- A yearling filly by Accelerate. Champion older dirt horse, Accelerate is a winner of five Grade 1 races and has progeny earning over $4.4 million to date. She is out of Moon Orbit whose extended family includes Grade 1 winner Stormy Lucy.

- Ligeia, a Florida-bred filly with two wins and eight placings by the late stallion, Speighster, whose progeny have accumulated over $21 million on the track.

- Designer Legs, a Grade 2 winner and earner of over $211,000, is being sold open and ready for mating.
